DESCRIPTION:In this advanced course detailed experiments in evolution\, ge
 netics\, cellular decision making\, and gene expression will be conducted.
  The course consists of both "wet" lab experiments and computer simulation
 s on the same topics. Similarly\, lectures on the biological background wi
 ll be presented both from the experimental and the theoretical perspective
 s. At the end of the course\, participants will present their work. Partic
 ipants of this course get hands-on experience with state-of-the-art experi
 mental and computational techniques in biological physics.\n\nContents of 
 the course:\n    Conducting evolution experiments\, evolution of drug resi
 stance\n    Modelling population genetics and evolution\n    Statistical a
 nalysis of experiments\n\nTeaching methods:\nWet lab\, computer simulation
